Serene nature, insects and water all inspire me. I love to replicate in art form, a piece of natures beauty. I am a geek for insects and birds. I have reared and raised many crawling, fluttering and flapping critters.
All my life I have loved animals and insects in nature. Researching treasures I have found, dead or alive. Drawing and Painting in a realistic way, helps me capture a part of nature that made me excited to learn more about my subjects. I started in colored and pastel pencils and have moved onto watercolor and acrylics. Attending art workshops over many years has inspired me to try new techniques and learn more about the mediums used and how I can interject that into my own style of painting. I have been juried into a few shows and on occasion have had my art displayed in galleries or businesses local and elsewhere in the past. I have even taught a few classes to both children and adults. By sharing my art with others, I hope they can feel a sense of connection in my passions for all things nature, live or dead.
